Thank you for visiting!  I have been teaching at Limestone Community High School since 2006 and have thoroughly enjoyed each year.  I teach sophomore level Modern Physical Science and cover the topics of Chemistry, Physics, and Earth and Space Science.  As you can probably imagine, with such a large range of topics there is a lot of content to cover throughout the course of the school year.  In order to make these sciences interesting and applicable to the lives of my students, I make every effort to use a variety of teaching styles and implement technology wherever it is feasible.

In addition to MPS, I also coordinate and teach the IMSA Excellence 2000+ after school program.  Thirty 6th - 8th grade students selected from the Limestone area grade schools meet at the high school once a week to take part in enrichment activities in Mathematics and Science. All learning is inquiry based which allows me to act as more of a facilitator than a teacher.  It has been an amazing experience to be able to watch the students explore and learn many concepts through higher order thinking and problem solving!
